Let’s dream the same dream - MIRANDA JULY

Filmmaker, artist, writer, Miranda July moves between mediums as a crucial and necessary part of her creative process  At its heart, much of her cross-disciplinary work is a search for human connection, in all its awkward and intimate variations. From her 2005 debut feature ME YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW, to her sophomore THE FUTURE, she creates mosaics of sexuality, loneliness and creativity. Her latest film KAJILLIONAIRE is a weird and tender family study, and is alive with the idiosyncrasies July is so brilliant at conjuring.

Experiencing July’s work is like having your innermost feelings visualised or read back to you — it’s arresting, thrilling. Both strange and familiar. Climb inside the worlds of Miranda July and stay a while.
